Anthea Behm is a visual artist who works across media with a focus on photography, video, and performance. Her current work deals with the politics of form, especially as it relates to feminist concerns about power and bodies. Upcoming shows include a solo exhibition at 14a Gallery, Hamburg, and a group exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris. Solo exhibitions include Paris London Hong Kong, Chicago; Daily Lazy, Athens; Minerva, Sydney; and Ideas Platform at Artspace, Sydney. Reviews of her work have appeared in X-TRA, Kaleidoscope, The New York Times, and Aperture. She has participated in the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program, the Core Program, Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Behm is Assistant Professor at the University of Florida, Co-Director of the Interdisciplinary Art & Theory Program at Jack Shainman Gallery, New York and an editor of Daily Lazy.
