Isadora Romero is an Ecuadorian photographer and visual storyteller based in Quito. Her work is a frontier between documentary and art photography, focusing on social justice and environmental issues. Among them is the human relationship with agriculture. She is co-founder of Ruda Collective of Latin American women photographers. She has exhibited her work in the Americas, Europe, and Africa. Among her main recognitions are receiving the Discovery Award of Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles 2023, winning the global and regional Open Format award of World Press Photo 2022, the Poy Latam multimedia category 2023, as well as the Marilyn Stafford Award 2021. She is also an educator lecturer.
