Paul Knight is an Australian artist who has been based in the UK since 2007. He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2001. In 2002 he was awarded a two-year studio at Melbourne’s Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces and in 2007 was awarded the Ann & Gordon Samstag Travelling Visual Arts Scholarship, which led him to complete a Master of Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art in 2009. Since his first solo exhibition in 2000, Knight has established a significant profile as a contemporary photographic artist. Knight won the William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize in 2009 with his work 14 months #01, 2008.
