Join international guest Lauren Hadler for an in-conversation about KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival, an annual festival held in Kyoto, Japan since 2013.

KYOTOGRAPHIE showcases the works of both established and emerging photographers from around the world, making it a significant platform for contemporary photography. Each year, the event revolves around a specific theme, and various exhibitions are spread across the historic city of Kyoto in museums, temples, galleries, and public spaces.

As Head of International Partnerships, Lauren will speak about the forthcoming edition (13 April to 12 May 2024), sharing insights and answering audience questions. Presented by MPavilion and PHOTO Australia.

Supported by The Japan Foundation, Sydney and Bowness Family Foundation.

PHOTO Australia respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live, and the rich and diverse Indigenous cultures across what is now called Australia. For over 60,000 years, Indigenous arts and culture have thrived on this sacred land, and we honour Elders and cultural leaders past and present. This was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
