Guide
Jonathan Sinatra
Jonathan Sinatra is a dance artist, educator and photographer with over 25 years of professional experience in dance making and teaching internationally and locally. He is a significant contributor, teacher and facilitator to the Australian and international Contact Improvisation community from 1993 to the present; a principal dancer with Australian choreographer Russell Dumas of Dance Exchange (2001-present); and worked with French choreographer Xavier Leroy (Sydney, 2012), Becky Hilton (Melbourne International Arts Festival, 2010) and Eleonore Didier (2014).
He is also known as Mr. Motion — who brings his infectious enthusiasm, endless inquisitiveness, big-kid heart and a life-long love of dance to any Silent Disco Tour. A Mr Motion tour will take you on a movement safari through role-playing, dancing, singing, and creative movement with a pumping playlist. Since joining the Silent Disco team in 2018, Mr Motion has whipped up a disco storm at the Queen Vic markets, Hen’s nights, Council and private events.
