Hear Anna Carey discuss her new series of photographs of handmade fictional psychic shop fronts in her exhibition [Psychic Visions]. Carey constructs the miniature models and then photographs them; the imperfections and decay highlight the imaginary space she has created. These isolated shops, with their mystical names and bright lights, offer the viewer a fantasy and freedom to imagine a new reality.
