Photobook Market Stallholder Callout

Applications have closed for stallholders to participate in the Photobook Market, at PHOTO 2022’s Photobook Weekend.

 

Applications are now open for stallholders to participate in the Photobook Market, at PHOTO 2022’s Photobook Weekend, taking place on 21—22 May, at Photography Studies College (PSC), South Melbourne.

 

Applications will close Friday, 10 December, 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEDT).

 

ABOUT THE PHOTOBOOK WEEKEND
The Photobook Weekend celebrates the role of photobooks in contemporary photographic practice. The two-day program will cater for everyone passionate about photobooks with visitors attending a packed program of casual talks, hands on workshops, panel discussions, the Photobook Market and book launches. Alongside the market will be exclusive displays of the Australian Photobook Award, the Kassel Dummy Award and more.

 

PHOTOBOOK MARKET
This is your opportunity to promote, sell and network all things photobooks via the hire of a table at the Photobook Market. As a participant, you will be joining a line-up of leading artists, publishers, designers, and photobook advocates. City-wide audiences will have the opportunity to browse some of the newest and most respected names in contemporary photobook publishing.

 

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
The Photobook Market is a photography focused publishing event. When filling out your application, please be specific and illustrate how your proposed table will feature photobooks and/or photography-specific catalogues, monographs, zines or related printed material. Applicants are required to submit images of recent publication projects and/or presentations. Please provide any additional information on potential event ideas, such as new books being launched, book signings, etc, that will help us in shaping our programming.

 

HOW TO APPLY

– The application requires submission of stallholder information, details of your proposed presentation and images.
— You will receive a confirmation email upon submitting this form.
– Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee participation.
– Notification of your application result will be sent to your nominated contact e-mail address.
–All applicants will be notified within 3 weeks of the submission deadline.

 

 

PHOTOBOOK SECTORS

 

Single Table
Designated for publishers, distributors, magazines and book sellers. Table size 130cm x 70cm. Cost $50

 

Double Table
Designated for publishers, distributors, magazines and book sellers. Table size 260cm x 70cm. Cost $90

Terms and conditions:

 

Table preference will be noted, but due to space limitations, exhibitors may be offered tables that differ from their stated preference. All tables will come with a black table-cloth and chairs. Stallholders must use furniture provided by PHOTO 2022 unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

 

Stallholders must supply their own electronic payment system (EFTPOS) for transactions as well as a hot spot internet connection. Power outlets and general Wi-fi are provided.

 

In the instance that the Photobook Market is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, exhibitors are entitled to a full refund.
