PHOTO Australia’s Social Media Moderation Policy informs practices of using and moderating comments on PHOTO Australia’s digital platforms.
PHOTO Australia is committed to fostering an inclusive online environment that is respectful, relevant and safe for people to engage in a constructive and considerate manner. We expect community members to treat all users on our platforms with respect.
We do not accept content that is unlawful.
We reserve the right to not accept, remove or restrict posts or comments if we deem them to be:
- derogatory, profanity, abusive, trolling or personal attacks;
- violating laws regarding harassment, discrimination, vilification, privacy or contempt;
- fraudulent, deceptive or containing misleading information or misinformation;
- an infringement of intellectual property rights including copyright;
- compromising the privacy of any person or containing inappropriate personal information;
- seeking to endorse commercial products or services or posting promotional material or links to third party websites;
- seeking to directly solicit donations or fundraise;
- impersonating someone else;
- a deliberate provocation of other users;
- irrelevant to the content of the post or our organisation, or are repetitive.
We reserve the right to close comments or delete comments.
Participants who seriously or persistently ignore these guidelines will be subject to blocking or removal from PHOTO Australia channels.
