WHAT IS YOUR TRUTH?
Overwhelmed but Strong. Betty May Stark evacuated from her home in Elands near Bobin, NSW during the November bush fires in Australia. She went to town and within 40 minutes all roads were closed, she couldn't get home and spent 12 days in an evacuation centre. The village of Bobin was almost completely destroyed. Now, standing in the burnt out forest she sees regrowth and a community healing.

PHOTO Australia respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live, and the rich and diverse Indigenous cultures across what is now called Australia. For over 60,000 years, Indigenous arts and culture have thrived on this sacred land, and we honour Elders and cultural leaders past and present. This was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
